Havre City Court is a Court of Limited Jurisdiction which handles misdemeanor violations of state statutes and city ordinances. The Court may also adjudicate orders of protection (restraining orders) and civil matters for $9,500 or less.
The staffing for the Court includes a full-time judge, a full-time court administrator, a full-time clerk, and two part-time clerks. The Business Office is manned by the Court Clerk and located in the reception area in Havre City Hall. The Administrative Office is manned by the Court Administrator and the public is admitted to this area upon admission by the Clerk.
