🎉Woohoo! 🎉We are proud to share our 200-day milestone!

The Lead Service Line Replacement Project construction component has been completed with 94 service lines fully replaced, resulting in our public water supply system being more ready to meet 2027 EPA LCRR guidelines.

The Highland Park Water Main Replacement Project construction is now above 90% with the construction work completion in sight.

Highland Park Water Main Replacement Project

🚨Construction Update🚨

14th Street West between Boulevard and Washington Avenues will be closed for water main looping from Wednesday, October 29th through November 5th. This looping will allow for safe connection and system flexibility during the tie-in of the water mains for Boulevard and Lincoln Avenues intersecting with 13th Street West. Expect those intersections to be closed while work is actively being done for excavation.

🌟Friendly reminder🌟 If your household is on temporary water for this project, allow at least one faucet to flow water at night to prevent the temporary service line from freezing. With the colder night time temperatures and these temp lines being above ground, there is little to no insulation to prevent them from freezing.

Excavation and installation for water main, service lines, and hydrants is ongoing on Cleveland Avenue between 10th and 13th Streets West. Please detour around the work zones for your safety as this work continues. Grant Avenue and portions of 12th Street West are being prepared for asphalt patching as weather allows. Please refrain from driving over exposed edges of existing asphalt.

Thank you for your cooperation and cautious navigation throughout this project to keep our community safe!

Lead Service Line Project Update

🚨Thank you, Havre, for your patience and cooperation during the Lead Service Line Replacement Project!🚨

This community undertaking has resulted in the disconnection and replacement of 94 service lines from the public water supply system. This puts our community in a good position with the upcoming final EPA LCRR 2027 Service Line Inventory with those replacements, a comprehensive verification of 64 service lines, and more importantly, a community water system without lead connections present!
